National Day of Prayer

Today is the national day of prayer and I just have to share what is on my heart and start the awesome prayer chain i have in my life. . . A 6 year old girl from Alex drowned on Sunday in the hot tub at a friends birthday party. The family has been on my heart even though the girl did not go to my school and I don't know her family. I pray for peace and strength as Jim and Nicole prepare to bury their little girl tomorrow. Whether you know them or not, lift them up in prayer as they deal with a hard reality that has rocked our community. May they rest in the knowledge that Kourtni is in heaven with her father who loves her and needed her more that this world did and that they will see her again in all his glory.
