Whose Idea Was This?

So yesterday at school we planted 2300 trees. Not just my class, every class. We buddied up with our kindergarten buddies and there were 3 other kindergarten classes and 3 other 5th & 6th grade classes. . . There were 12 shovels for about 200 kids, it was MUDDY and it was raining. . . again I ask, whose idea was this? the directions were "this is how you plant a tree, go over there and plant 4 each. here is the proof (and yes those are plastic bags around the kids' feet who did not have boots or other tennis shoes) The best part of the whole experience for me was getting to buy yellow rain boots with white polka dots. . . which are not picturedwhat a great non stressful activity for a Friday! The custodians loved it. . . and so did the teacher in her high heels. . .
