Be sure to read the outlined in red information. . .

Happy Birthday!

Today is Ryan's 26th birthday.  We celebrated with the Tim Mcgraw concert last night in Grand Forks, ND.  We stayed over and took today off and did some fun things.

We went to Cabellas. . .
We had lunch with Randy (but I forgot to document). . .
We bought him sunglasses for a birthday present. . .
We then met Marty, Mandy, and Wyatt at Zorbaz for dinner.
We are blessed to have such great friends and can't wait to meet their second little guy later this summer.
It has been a super fun day and it was great to just relax and spend time together (since we haven't been doing a lot of that lately) and spend time with some of our greatest friends that we don't see too often.  Ryan, I love you and am so thankful you are my husband.  Happy Birthday Old Man! (for the next 26 days, then you will be young again)

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day!  A very special happy mother's day to two brand new moms!  Hope your day was filled with excitement and celebration of you and everything you do!

I went to Iowa this weekend for Mollie's dedication and Bret's graduation (he just got his MBA) party.  Here is Bret practicing for the dedication. . .

Mollie all spiffed up for church. . . after she spit up on her mom's sweater. . . she just wanted to say "I love you, happy mother's day"
and my mom, dad, and I with Polly. . .
Thanks Muskavegas for letting me come again. . . Man that is one CUUUUUTTTTEEEEE little girl and I so wish we lived closer to her parents!  Thanks to Ryan for letting me take Friday afternoon off so I could go :-)

Short Trip, LONG Post

Easter weekend took us to Dallas!  We left early Friday morning and had a TON of fun.  Papa handed out a schedule for holding Mollie in which all time was allocated to him, Katie, and Grammie . .   We shopped at Charming Charlie, ate at one of Tim & Danielle's favorite restaurants, and just hung out.  Saturday took Tim, Aimee, Bret, Grammie, Ryan, and I to Arlington for the Bunny Boogie 5K.  Not only did we have super cool matching shirts, we had bunny ears to easily spot one another. At one point, Ryan had a foreign lady point to him and say "big bunny. .. hahaha"  We laughed pretty hard about that.
Bret ran as my dad and won the 50+ age division and his own at that.  Everyone did really well considering it was super hot and humid.  I am so not complaining about the weather though, it was nice to wear flip-flops and be warm!  After the race we went to Cracker Barrel and just like old times, waited on the rockers, showed my dad the "really cool things we found inside," and found out how smart we are by playing the golf tee game. . .

Saturday night we had a shower for Baby White!  The boys went to the Texas Rangers game where ironically, there were no pictures taken!  The girls showed Mollie how to do a party right and had a nice dinner at Hillstone.  I got to feed Mollie a bottle and she thanked me by giving me two ounces back all over my pants and chair. . .

We also went to Sprinkles and got SUPER YUMMY cupcakes to eat.  I LOVE this pictures of my sisters and I except that you can't see Mollie's face.

We made Danielle a book about Motherhood with advice/encouragement from lots of people who love her.
Baby Carol got a stocking from Nannie!

Our cupcakes! (we brought some for the boys too)

And of course, there was lots of Mollie time.  She is super smiley and so fun to be around.  She was laughing and talking to me Saturday and oh boy was I melting and wrapping around her little (chunky) finger.  Her mommy let me help out a lot and burp her and change diapers which is fun for me because I don't get to do that often.  Do not be deceived by the cheeks, she is still TINY!
Sunday brought Easter and we went to church and then had our traditional swiecone brunch (it's polish, ask me to pronounce it for you).  We took lots of pictures and Mom and Danielle made curtains for baby Carol's room.  We just chilled and everyone kind of mourned the end of our time together.
and Aimee. . . well, Aimee was Aimee and she realized and experienced her lack of favorite status. . . we still love her too, it's just no one can hold her or rock her to sleep. . .
We were delayed coming out of Dallas Sunday night and did not get to my parents until 1:45 AM. . . Ryan and I then slept for three hours before getting up to drive back so I could go to work and sit in meetings all day. . . It was so worth it.  I would do it again in a heart beat.  Thanks Grammie and Papa for everything!  Thanks Tim and Danielle for letting us come visit you, we can't wait to meet baby Carol.

I am continually reminded how lucky I am to have such an amazing family (in-laws too)!  God is so good and all I can think of to end this is a quote I heard a while ago "How lucky are we to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard!"
