Cereal!

This weekend we tried cereal!
Leo sure did not hate it!
He did really well and did not end up as messy as we expected!
We only got a little spit back out at us.
If this doesn't show you how much he enjoyed it and how much his little personality is developing, I don't know what will!
I almost forgot to add that Saturday night Leo slept from 10:00-3:00, and then I put his paci in once and we woke him up at 7:25.  Last night he slept from 10:00-7:20.  There were a few spouts of shouting in there (yes shouting, not crying) but we did not go in AT ALL last night!  Hooray for Leo!

Project

Like most of the rest of the world, I am loving Pinterest!  I found myself with some extra time on my hands and wanted to do something with the awesome family pictures we had taken. I started with a blank canvas, letter stickers we had around the house, paint, modge podge, and my pictures.
I put the stickers on the canvas spelling out our family verse and placed the pictures just so I could see what it would look like.

Then I painted over the whole canvas (without the pictures on obviously).
Lastly I peeled off the stickers, placed my pictures, and modge podged over the whole thing.
I am loving the results and the canvas hanging at the top of our stairs, reminding us that we are called to love because HE first loved us!

*Next time I want to try spray paint to get a more even paint coating over the stickers!  What have you tried lately?

Happy Birthday Cousin Crosby!

Hey there pretty little Crosby lady!  We can't believe you have been here a whole year.  You are such a blessing to our family and we love you more than you will ever know.  We can't wait to see what wonderful things God has planned for your life.  We know he loves you lots.  We love your smile, your jack-o-lantern teeth, your laugh, the way you carry toys in your mouth, and the fact that you ignored Leo completely the whole time you were in Minnesota.  Happy first birthday sweet Sally Francis!  Love you!

Where We've Been

After Ryan and I got back from Arizona, Leo and I hopped in the car with Grammie to go to Iowa and help take care of Mollie while Auntie Kitty and Uncle Bled were in Mexico.  I am not sure we were much help but we sure had fun.
Leo decided to see what we were made of on the way there with a car seat blow out.  We pulled off on the side of the road on an off ramp and like any good bogging mama I documented before helping.
Grammie bought Mollie a water bucket to play with on the deck.  She loved chasing the ice cubes around!
Grammie sang lots of songs and got lots of love from both grandkids.  Whenever she had Leo, Mollie wanted to be held.
Leo liked hanging out on the deck too!
Mollie likes to eat. . . I mean really, really, really likes to eat!
I love when blog friends become real friends!  While in Iowa we got to meet the Murray's and their sweet kids!  Mollie and Sammer had some fun reading books and even though I don't have the picture, Sammer showed Leo some very sweet love.  We are blessed to have amazing people praying for us.  People that did not even know us before our journey.  Now I think of them as friends.  Very cool.
