Leo the Ladies Man

Leo is quite the ladies man these days.  There are eight girls that his mom spends quite a bit of time with that he really likes to see as well.  These girls are AWESOME!!  They keep Leo's mom on her toes while helping her work hard and healing her brain.  They also fight over who gets to hold him and hang out with him when he visits their basketball tournament.  He only hopes that they score more than 10 points in the first half of the next game he goes to :-)

A Party

Where there is a first birthday, there should be a party!
We started our tractors and put them in gear to help celebrate Leo's first year!  There were presents:

Some unexpected:
Others coveted:
There were cupcakes:
Cake:
Stolen baby snuggles
And satisfied customers:
Happy first birthday Leo Christopher!

ONE

One year ago this was Leo:

Here is that same kid yesterday!  On his first birthday:
Can you believe how much he has grown?  I sure can't!  We were lucky enough to start our day with some Daddy snuggles.  We quickly moved on to our (new) traditional birthday breakfast of puff pastry.
Leo was pretty excited about it and quickly realized it was a yummy treat!!

And poof! it was all gone!

Leo got to open his present before dinner!  He got an awesome wheelies set that will be pulled back out around July and bring lots of fun!
And then it was time for cake.  A picture is worth a thousand words right?

Happy Birthday Leo Christopher!  We love you millions and billions!  You bring so much joy to our family and we are so thankful for your health and growth in the last year.  We pray that as you continue to grow and that you would come to know the God who protected you from chemotherapy and gave you life in a personal way.  We pray that you would grow to be a man of honor and integrity and that you would never forget our very humble beginning.

Christmas!

Hey everyone, Leo here with a Christmas Recap.  Mom can't seem to get around to it so I told her I would step in and finish this up for her.  Christmas eve we got all dressed up right after breakfast for some pictures:
See what I did there?  They gave me my nuk in hopes that I would be happy!
I was already happy.  I just chose to perfect the "huh?" look in every picture.

Then we got to change clothes again and just play.  Auntie Aimee let me watch "moofies" on her ipad.  I gave her some "nice touch" with my stinky hands.

Then we got ready for church again.
Grammie and Papa call this herding cats.  I don't get it

I was a happy guy in the church nursery.  After church we got to get our new jammies and have a birthday party for Jesus.  We sang to him and everything.  Mollie, Crosby, and I got to have COOKIES at Jesus' party.  It was pretty great!
Christmas morning we had breakfast and opened gifts.  I got lots of fun things to play with.  My parents could have wrapped up the coasters from Grammie's tables and I would have been just as happy!
I had lots and lots of fun with my cousins.  I miss them and can't wait until we are together again.  I also can't wait to celebrate Jesus' birthday each year.  So much fun!
